Title: When I Fall
Series: Alabama Summer #3
Author: J. Daniels
Release Date: March 17, 2015
Synopsis
From NY Times and USA Today Bestselling author, J. Daniels
Book three in the Alabama Summer series.
For the past nine years, I’ve kept my heart as far away from my dick as possible.
Those two can’t be anywhere near each other. They don’t play nice, and one of them undoubtedly winds up getting hurt.
Not my dick. My dick is good.
The
women I take home know exactly what they’re getting from me—sex.
Nothing more. At least, that’s what’s supposed to happen. The sweet
brunette from Kentucky I set my sights on tonight shouldn’t have been
any different. I had her right where I wanted her. Where I needed her.
But when my past comes walking into McGill’s pub, the woman in my arms
decides to take things to a whole new level, putting me into a situation
I never saw coming.
My heart is about to get fucked. My dick can sit this one out.
*** Warning: This book is recommended for readers over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content. When
I Fall
can be read as a standalone novel.

~~**Selina's 5 Star Review**~~
*I have received an ARC for an honest review*
Reed: Stubborn (Adjective) - Fixed or set in purpose or
opinion; resolute
Beth: Kind (Adjective) – Having, showing, or proceeding from
benevolence: kind words
These are some adjectives that can be used to describe these
two. Here’s why.
Reed is a bachelor and had his heart broken all those years
ago which makes him the man he is today.
Well man is putting is slightly.
More like man…whore. He takes a
page out of Julia Roberts’s book and doesn’t kiss. Ever.
It’s just way to emotional and he’s trying to keep it simple. And by keeping it simple I mean he bangs and
ditches or kicks out, whatever the situation calls for. Reed is a man of many talents and I’m not
just talking about wood. He’s in
construction people, get your mind out of the gutter. Reed is someone you want in your corner. If you’re lucky enough you become he’s friend
and then you become him family. He’s a
great guy with flaws and walls that hopefully some lucky woman will knock down.
Beth is a loner and pretty much has been her entire
life. When the only family she has is no
longer in the picture what do you do when you have nowhere else to go. How far would you go to stay off the
streets? While Beth was going through
her mother’s old pictures she soon comes to realize that she is not alone in
the world. Taking a chance and leaving
the bad situation she was in she travels to be near family she never knew she had. Beth is such a kind hearted person. She’s caring but stern, has a childlike
innocence but has a very nasty mind. I
want to be friends with Beth…Beth ß
If you’ve read the book you’ll totally get that.
Just like with anything J. Daniels write I always get side
cramps from laughing too much. Every
time. The story line and plot were
amazing and was different from the first two books but kept with the
series. I loved reading about Reed and
Beth’s story. I have to say that this
book is my favorite. This series just
keeps getting better and better. I liked
how the characters from the previous books were there but didn’t take over the
story. I don’t believe if someone was to
read this book without reading Where I Belong (1) or All I Want (2) they would
be confused. It could be read as a standalone.
When I Fall was about Reed and Beth’s story with a sprinkle of the previous
characters.
I would scream my recommendation on the roof top. This story is hot so make sure you’re
alone…or in a crowded room, whatever floats your boat but realize this, you’re going to have a huge book hangover.
