Evil father, horrendous “fiance”, despicable friends, add a dash of humiliation and you have yourself a crappy life recipe. What started off as Zara being a carefree girl living the life all shifter girls want, was interrupted because of a gift. A gift that Zara never knew anything about. A gift that was a burden and a nightmare to Zara but to others it was opportunity for deceitfulness.

How can
someone look towards the future when you have no hope? Everything was taken from Zara including the
light at the end of the tunnel. Zara for
me was a pretty strong character for most the time. I enjoyed the scene setups and thought that
everything was played out very well. I just
devoured the book. The moment it showed up
in my Kindle I was pretty lost to the world.
Raber started off strong for the series and I can’t wait to get my greedy
hands on the second one.
I liked how tentative
certain members of the packs were towards Zara.
Having that complication not only makes for a great read but also shows
growth further into the book. I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve read Ryan Michele’s other series and
was hoping I would have felt a little bit of drama with Raber and I did. I was rooting for her and was so happy with
the end result.
If you like
to read about strong woman and Caveman Alphas then this book is so for you.

Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head.
